Licensed for 79 beds, HealthSouth Hospital of Houston specializes in providing care for those individuals that require acute care for an extended period of time. Our multidisciplinary team approach helps patients recover from catastrophic illnesses and regain their highest level of functioning. We have employed specially trained professionals that are skilled in providing critical care similar to that of an Intensive Care Unit. Because of the extended period of time patients are allowed to stay in our hospital, we are also able to work with patients in a therapy setting that encourages strengthening and an enhanced functioning level.
